Gaming Console Buyers Guide: Xbox vs. PS3
69Which is better?
There are many types of gaming consoles out there today. From everything from a hardcore gaming system to a portable PlayStation. When choosing to buy one of these systems what should you buy? Well if you are looking for something in the market of a popular gaming system like a ps3 or an xbox 360, then this is the place to be.
Xbox
Microsoft hit it big when the first Xbox hit the market. Sony's playstation was always the leader in that category. Now Xbox is one of the most respected gaming systems in the world.
When buying a gaming system you always need to compare the benefits of each and consider which is the best for you. Xbox 360's have a number of popular attributes that lead many to this option. Xbox 360's are newer than Ps3's and they have more games. Xbox is more widely used for internet gaming and has many accessories that make this more fun and easier to play. The number of people that play Xbox is far more than the people that play on Ps3's internet community. One drawback of Xbox's gaming community is that it costs money to play and some people don't like that and lean towards playing on Sony's system. I personally prefer the Xbox system to the Ps3 because of the amount of people that already have Xbox.

Playstation 3
When Sony's Playstation 3 hit the stores the news was everywhere. People were getting trampled to death outside of stores just to be some of the first people to play on this new system.
The Ps3 has many features that the Xbox does not. For example the Ps3 has a Blue Ray player. This is solely why some people buy a Ps3. When it first came out Blue Ray players were so expensive that the PS3 was the cheapest option out there and Sony was losing money on every Ps3 purchase. They made money on a large scale of course, but on each sale they did lose some money.
Internet gaming on the Sony gaming system is free. For Xbox it costs about 40$ a year which is not a lot, but it is when it is compared to zero.
